AND I SAID HELLO, HELLO THE SUN WAS HIGH IN THE SKY as Serah Farron walked down the cobbled streets of Y'n Bay. She listened to all the commotion around her with a smile. It reminded her so much of Bodhum back on Cocoon. And that made her miss Lightning and Snow. She wondered where they were now and if they were alright. She knew that Lightning would be fine but she wasn't so sure about Snow. He tended to attract trouble and that was never a good thing.
The last time she saw Snow was before he left to go and find Lightning because he believed Serah when she said that Lightning was still alive. She knew in all of her heart that her sister was still out there. And that thought was confirmed by that strange boy named Noel. Hopefully he was okay as well. She doesn't really remember anything after meeting him but she would work to regain her memory one part at a time.
She turned her attention back to those around her and saw some young kids running around, happy and carefree. She smiled happily, wondering if she should try and teach here too. It might be a bit hard since she didn't know much about this new world. She just knew that it wasn't her world. She continued on her way to the beach with a smile. And it didn't take her long to reach her destination.
She removed her shoes and let her feet sink into the sand a little. She walked out onto the beach a little more then sat down, placing her shoes down beside her. She looked up to the sky, holding on to her engagement necklace from Snow. "I'll find you, Snow. Then maybe we can finally get married. Just please be okay. You too, Lightning, I'll find you. Then we can all have a new life together."

| WELL wasn't this great, the daft animal had gone and rushed off and the portly fellah behind the dog was rushing to try and keep up.
"CHIP YOU BLOODY HEATHEN COME BACK 'ERE!" The man called though it was clear he wasn't too angry just a little out of breath. Oddly for such a large man he could certainly run rather fast, he just had a beer belly weighing him down a bit and perhaps the scene itself was a bit comical.
It didn't take long for the dog to find its way to the beach and after him came Arthur. Huffing and puffing as he went and waving at a few familiar faces as he passed. The dog however was having a whale of a time, bounding about on the sand and as soon as Arthur came close to grabbing him? Off Chip went again with a playful bark and Arthur went face first in to the sand. Slowly he sat up and sighed before he laughed a little and the dog jumped on him barking at him and then licking the mans face.
After a few moments however, the dog spotted someone on the beach and.... Off he went. Charging across the sand and barking as he went, apparently something was off about the young lady Chip had spotted. Arthur got up immediately and followed suit, calling for the dog to stop hassling people.
Chip snapped at one of the girls shoes, tugging it away and running off with it and Arthur sighed as he drew close.
"Look lass, I'm sorry about Chip there, he's a little overzealous sometimes, he'll be back with y'er shoe just y'wait. Seems to think there's something odd about you though from the way he was barkin' like a mad animal. Any idea why he might think there's something odd about you lass?" Arthur asked as he took a deep breath and then folded his arms over his belly.
"Oh I'm Arthur by the by, Arthur Frost, live in Y'n Bay with m'daughter Amelia. What's y'name lass?"

AND I SAID
HELLO, HELLO Serah let her feet sink into the warm sand, listening to the sounds all around her. She began to think about that dream she had last night. It was so odd but one thing was clear to her, there was trouble coming. And it seemed very dangerous. She would try and help though, however much she could. She was pretty good with her training but this would be very different. This place was a new home so she wanted to try and protect it. Whenever this army came, she'd be there to help whomever else fights against the army.
She was brought out of her thoughts by a dog's barks. She stood up to see the dog bounding over to her and the gentleman chasing after. It was rather odd to see, to be honest. Then the dog had bounded off with one of her shoes but with the whole situation, she couldn't help but giggle a little. She shook her head and offered the man a friendly smile."It's alright, he reminds me a bit of some of the children I taught back home. They'd always find something and run off with it. I'm not sure but it could be because I'm not from here originally. I'm from a place named New Bodhum."
She kept the smile on her lips as she went on. "It's nice to meet you, Arthur. My name is Serah Farron."

| AT LEAST the young lady didn't take too horribly to the situation. Instead of getting angry or upset, she'd giggled, that much Arthur had heard and he internally sighed in relief. Thankful that today Chip hadn't gotten them both in to trouble.
"It's alright, he reminds me a bit of some of the children I taught back home." Well then, those kids must've been a hyperactive bunch.
"They'd always find something and run off with it. I'm not sure but it could be because I'm not from here originally. I'm from a place named New Bodhum." Arthur arched a brow at the young woman, New Bodhum? Was that a new settlement somewhere or something?
"It's nice to meet you, Arthur. My name is Serah Farron."
"Aye, likewise. Though, this might be a stupid question but where's this New Bodhum you were talkin' 'bout there? I can't say I've ever 'eard of the place m'self. Then again I could jus' be mental and hit the memory loss part o' life early." He asked and then he peered out after the dog, shaking his head.
"Though even if y'are a foreigner, how'd you like Y'n Bay so far?" He asked then he continued. " 'Opefully you 'aven't seen the God awful dark side of this port town. I'm jus' glad I'm livin' where I'm livin' and I'm glad I picked up Amelia when I did or she might'a been taken in to one o' those leagal brothels or some'et." He sighed a bit, then slowly he sat himself down in the sand a bit away from the edge.
"Why don't ya sit lass? After y'er done talkin' I'll get us some fish 'n' chips. Always tasty that, 'sides you look like y'could do with some meat on y'er bones. Not an ounce o' fat on y'er I'd say." He chuckled, it was a compliment as much as it wasn't, perhaps Amelia'd come to the beach eventually and then all three of them could go to the chippy for something to eat. Though Arthur would be skipping desert since he was well over weight as it was.
Soon enough of course the dog came back carrying the girls shoe and dropping it near her before it took a seat beside Arthur and then laid down on the sand. Too bad the shoe was now wet because the dog had gone in the sea with it.

AND I SAID HELLO, HELLO Serah looked out at the dog, named Chip as she had just learned, running around with her shoe. He seemed really energetic which no doubt cause plenty of problems for Arthur. It was sure to keep him plenty busy. "New Bodhum is a seaside town, sort of like Y'n Bay although not as big. When Cocoon started to fall and the old residents now began to live on Gran Pulse, the world below Cocoon. We were kept above Pulse because we were told how terrible and savage it was ever since a large scale war took place many years ago. And Cocoon is pretty much a giant sphere that housed millions. But now it's encased in crystal by," she paused, remembering when she awoke from her crystal slumber.
Everyone was waiting for her and Dahj. But then Lightning disappeared and everyone believed she was in the crystal pillar with Fang and Vanille. Serah knew that her sister was still alive in the end and only Snow believed her. "The crystal was formed by some l'Cie, people who were given great power, and they saved the world from being destroyed." After a moment, she chuckled slightly. "Sorry, I kind of went into teacher-mode there." Although she did wonder if she still could do some of that magic that she had back on her world when she was training. She sat down near Arthur and shook her head at what he mentioned. "No, I haven't seen the darker side thankfully. And I really like it here. I especially like theme park, it reminds me of Nautilus back on Cocoon."
After she spoke, she looked over to see Chip coming back over with her shoe. Both he and the shoe looked wet and she giggled again. She looked back to Arthur and nodded with a smile. "That sounds wonderful, actually."

wordsNot sure
| THE older fellow listened to what the pink haired girl had to say.
"New Bodhum is a seaside town, sort of like Y'n Bay although not as big. When Cocoon started to fall and the old residents now began to live on Gran Pulse, the world below Cocoon. We were kept above Pulse because we were told how terrible and savage it was ever since a large scale war took place many years ago." Well that didn't sound good, though perhaps the wool had been pulled over peoples eyes and the masses were simply afraid.
"And Cocoon is pretty much a giant sphere that housed millions. But now it's encased in crystal by," He arched a brow.
"The crystal was formed by some l'Cie, people who were given great power, and they saved the world from being destroyed." That was quite the tale, but Arthur listened with great interest really.
"Sorry, I kind of went into teacher-mode there." Arthur chuckled.
"S'quite all right lass, it's interesting t'me. So's you don't need to worry 'bout it too much. I'd have listened to more if you'd cared to share. Though I can definitely say yer not from 'ere. Where did y'say you were staying?" He asked mostly out of concern for the young lady, he couldn't exactly let her just stay outside at night, the streets weren't safe after dark most of the time.
"No, I haven't seen the darker side thankfully. And I really like it here. I especially like theme park, it reminds me of Nautilus back on Cocoon." Well then, that was good, he let out a relieved sigh, he wouldn't really want anything bad to happen to a little lady who seemed so nice.
"That sounds wonderful, actually." So fish and chips it was and he slowly started to lead the way for Serah.
"So Serah was it? You plannin' on goin' off 'n' explorin'? I used to do a bit o' adventurin' m'self but... I'm a bit old fer that now." He chuckled a bit as he walked. Ah if only his adopted daughter were here. It'd be nice to have her along for Serah to talk to, the young woman needed friends after all. At least Serah had her shoe back now...?
