This is all just testing text to see how it looks on the mini-profile, mostly so that others see.

Who left the map? It's unknown but it was old and expensive, and really if one took the time to look at where it was supposed to be located after it being deciphered? Well, between Meian Creek and Serutia, would there really be anything in the caves? The Meians had probably looted the place for all it was worth.
However the entrance? Was a very small gap in a mountain, people probably would've missed it or lost their way once they got there. Hopefully one of the group had a map of Oephus so they could note down the discovery of this cave, after all it was probably new to everyone in this small treasure hunting party.
The place was dark, at first, one long and wide dark passageway with a blue glow at the end but once they were out in to the vastness of the caverns they would see, just what they had before them. Glowing trees, rich with magical poperties left to grow in the depths of the mountains untouched by greedy hands.
But they weren't here to look at the scenery even if they would get to name it between the four of them, they were here for loot and now they'd have to search for it.
((You're all in room 8 the thing at the top is where you came in, good luck!))
Two chest locations were revealed on the map.

| He’d been told that this side of the continent was extremely cold when he was asking questions and gathering information. His first reflex had been to grimace and look up to the sky, as if asking it why, but then he was back to doing what he did best and that was unraveling a puzzle, the puzzle figuring out where the map was showing him. He’d sent out a letter on the bulletin board while he was doing that, and had gotten his responses… rather fast. Faster than he was expecting and that was good, real good, if not resulting him spending up all night staring at the map to figure it out. Eventually he’d gotten it, and with that, the last person had sent in a letter saying that they were tagging along as well.
With that it was time to get what he needed. The woman at the inn he was staying at was insistent that she helped him prepare, and so Hope ended up looking like a large mushroom when he set out to pass the mountains and cross the snow expanse. He was disgruntled by it at first, and then he was thankful, so very thankful that he wasn’t losing his toes and fingers because that was what would have happened if he’d gone in his normal attire. Hope would need to thank her when he got back.
It had taken him a few days, mostly because he didn’t have anything to get him there, but he’d made sure to set the meeting date in the future so there was time for him to get there, and give the others that opportunity.
Plus he had to find exactly where the entrance was, and that had been… such an adventure. One filled with him trooping through snow waist high when it started pouring from the sky, and smacking mountain wolves with his handy-dandy boomerang. When he’d found it, he sat down on a rock and sat his weapon in his lap, waiting.
His orange, very orange, fluffy jacket was like a beacon in the snow and he hoped that the others would be able to see him. It wasn’t snowing at the moment, and he wasn’t exactly hiding. Hope pulled up the large knit scarf around his neck, the minty material exactly like the thin one he usually wore but thicker, and loads warmer. “couldn’t have been in a forest or anything, could it…” he blew out as he hunched his shoulders forward and kicked at the snow on the ground a bit.
“…. At least I can make a snow cone if I wanted it….” Did he though? No—Hope had had enough ice in his mouth, at this point. He was ready to get inside this cave, and go inside of it. His blood rushed and his inquisitive side was quietly saying just a peek wouldn’t hurt, but he needed to wait.
There were others coming with him, and he’d get to look at it all he wanted once they got inside. “If they ever get here…” Maybe along the way they’d get lost? Or maybe they saw how cold it was and decided against it? Either way, he’d wait for them to show up from where he was and go from there if they did or didn't.

FILLED IT UP WITH NOVOCAINE
While Blaise may have said that he was bored when he sent his letter in to this Hope, the real reason he wanted to tag along was a bit different. While boredom actually was one of the reasons he had decided to tag along, the other was because he really wanted to spite Meia. Seeing as he grew up in Snoweholme it really wasn't hard to see why he wanted to spite the town and everyone in it. He was used to the cold so after he threw on a white down jacket over his usual wardrobe, Blaise had left his temporary lodging at an inn in Serutia and was on his way where he was supposed to meet this Hope. On the way Blaise took special care to not let his two tails trail in the snow when the weather got progressively colder and colder the further he walked.
Blaise barely paid any attention to the snow that he trudged through to get to his destination even if it was rather deep. He had survived much worse growing up in Snoweholme so compared to that this was like skipping through a field of flowers. That was if you counted sopping wet snow that threatened to fall into his boots as a type of flower of course. His white boots practically seemed to disappear into the snow with every step that he took. In a way this was a useful thing for him as his white outfit, pale skin, and silver hair blended in perfectly with his surroundings.
Granted his camouflage wasn't perfect as shown by the fact that he had to stop and clean wolf blood off his sword every now and then. Sure most monsters were rather stupid, but Blaise wasn't able to say that they were completely unobservant. The imprint his feet and legs made in the snow was a clear giveaway to his location even if he himself was hard to spot. For this reason his trek to find the entrance to the cave that he was supposed to find took longer than he expected. That wasn't even to mention the fact that he had to stop every now and then to cover his tracks as well.
"So I take it that you're Hope?" Blaise asked when he finally after hours of walking came across the cave entrance. Right now it looked like it was just him and the silver haired kid. "My name's Blaise and I hope that we work well together," Of course it wasn't a lie, but then again he was only in this thing so he could spite Meia. Granted he wouldn't have been surprised if they found that this cave had already been looted, but it wasn't going to hurt them by searching. |
