The creek is barren, save for this lone tree in the middle of the ice. The tree isn't dead though and it bears a particular type of fruit that the God/Goddess of ice enjoyed. However it has only born a single fruit each year for the past hundred or so years since the Tower of Lights sigil stopped.
Before then it managed to bear a lot of fruit each year and even had multiple harvests. The Meia people like to enjoy the fruit but now it's only ever given to their mayor when the tree bears fruit. Sometimes a child will find a fruit and keep it for themselves, or a traveler will take the fruit without knowing what the fruit means.
In the spring time the tree does bear beautiful blue blossoms, though that's the only way one can really tell it's spring here in the ice ridden part of the Northern Continent.
