Appearance History Kale was born into a hunting family in Ikaros. Being the only child, his father was more than excited to start teaching Kale how to hunt as soon as possible. But Kale learned things other than hunting as well. When he got old enough, he learned to cook, read maps and other things that would help him in life. Of course, he was rather stubborn and it took him a while to really get into his lessons since he thought he could do it all already. But as he grew, he kept at it since he didn't want to let his parents' lessons got to waste. He wanted to help get gil for his family so that they could still have a good life. Around age 18, he began to travel around more for his marks and went to some places around his home before branching out more and more. He went began his journey from Ikaros and went through the Estreola River area and continued down.When he stopped at Y'n Bay, he met a rather nice and beautiful maiden. He began talking with her and soon, they became friends. But before anything more could occur, he had to leave to travel to more places. But he made a promise to come back to see her soon. But unfortunately, his promise would have to be extended for a bit longer than he thought. He traveled to Laaz Basin, then to Thion then began to head back home. When there, he and his father learned of a monster that had been attacking the forest underneath their homes and they had decided to take the job. Kale's mark was seen near Qronoe Temple. He had heard the stories of that place and knew they would have to be very careful but he didn't really believe all of the talk that it was cursed. When they arrived and fought their target, he got badly wounded while his father was killed. So his travels ended there, as he patched up the wounds as best he could before deciding to bury his father as soon as he returned home. Now he knew that the place was cursed and hated the place. He stayed home for a while after that until he decided to head back to Y'n Bay to see the maiden. He found her once more and apologized for not coming sooner, as a few years have passed since he made the promise. But they got closer and closer and after a few more years, they decided to marry. He had saved up enough gil to get her a nice ring and for them to have a good little home. And they have a beautiful little girl and Kale couldn't have been happier. He had a wonderful life with his beautiful daughter and wife but his wife soon fell ill and died. So he was left to care for his young girl, hoping that he could be that best father that he could be.
