Appearance HUMAN  DEMON - She just has a tail with an arrow head like point at the end and wings that look like tattered bat wings too.  Height: 5'7 FT Eye Color: Red Hair: Black/Purple hair. Skin: Fair/Pale Notable Features: Plenty of smaller scars and large scars from training, mostly over her upper arms, upper back, chest and stomach. Juri also has a tattoo of a dragon that covers a large portion of her back, mostly the upper back where the scars are. History Juri is and always has been a resident of Dratia, her family has ties to the royals of the country that span extremely far back. The way the history goes is that her family always gave up one of their members to serve the emperor or empress and protect them until their time was through, most of these protectors were chosen at birth or when an heir was born to take the throne. However, this family were given strict training to make them the best and only the best would be accepted, for this it was thought that extremely harsh training was required and some servants even submitted to death in the process of this training, those who didn't fall victim to the harshness were taken on as royal guard and were kept very close to royalty. As soon as Juri was born, with her jet black hair and ruby red eyes, her father pinned her for the next protector of the royal family. She had both traits of the family line the black hair and the red eyes, her brothers had black hair and green eyes and they were both born human where as she was born Zayen due to her fathers lineage. The human genes in her mother had been very strong, her fathers zayen genes lived on within Juri. So she was to be trained. The first five years of her life were spent rather happily as a child, smiling and content. When she turned five however, things changed drastically, at first her mother and father argued about her, she didn't understand why at the time but after a while the mother submitted to the fathers wishes as this had been decided from Juri's birth. Then she was taken to the royal palace, she liked the place obviously as any child would, she was even excited to be there. Then she was introduced to the boy she would be protecting. A three year old boy named Pheis at first she was hesitant but after a short time she found she enjoyed the boys company, she was left alone with him to get to know him and talk with him, but instead ot just talking the two played. Her father always gave her a time she'd be taken home and that she was to be ready to leave, the current emperor didn't seem to have much of a problem with the way that Pheis and Juri interacted, in fact he was happy that his son had someone he could call a true friend. However, Juri's father wouldn't be so pleased. He started her training as soon as she came home by hitting her with sticks, at first she didn't understand. She cried for hours and found she'd been hit so hard she couldn't sit down, but she forced herself to sit at meal times and she grew very quiet. She didn't understand why she was being hurt so much by her own father. She did however learn fast to dodge incoming assaults and she treasured the little release from training that was presented when she went to see Pheis and interact with him. This continued for years, she was left with unseen cuts and bruises, a cracked rib at one point even and more injuries that she covered. She even showed up with bandages over one side of her face at one point, the flesh around her left eye having swollen up so badly that she couldn't open her left eye at all. The brutalization was real and she didn't know how much of it she could take. She still enjoyed her time with Pheis though all the way up until she was about twelve. At this age her father picked her up early and he saw how friendly she was with the prince, needless to say he got angry, very, very angry because her role was not to be the prince's friend but to be his protector. That was her duty. Not this silly childishness that she showed around the prince and he increased her training. Her time with Pheis was reduced and over the years her happy nature was twisted in to a very serious and stoic facade. A facade that was kept in place regardless of her own injuries. She could take plenty of punishment before she would ever fall and that, that was what her father wanted to achieve with her. He wanted to be that for the emperor but could never achieve it, by the time Juri was seventeen she had succeeded where he failed and so he pushed even harder. She was also given the family tattoo but it was on her back to cover all the wounds she had sustained during training and combat. In essence her father wanted her to become the best warrior, the best protector, the best royal guard that there had ever been, one that history would tell stories of. Her conduct was rather story worthy, earning her the name Juri of the Four Saints, Deimos of the North and Weapon Master Juri. Though most enjoy the first of the titles since it makes her seem like a goddess of war she herself simply prefers Xiang or Miss Xiang. Currently her main concern is keeping her emperor and her co-worker Huang Wei alive and happy.
