'Yew' Yeseld Versa Emmelae  Titles: Earth Shaker, Walking Caution Sign Age: 876 Gender: Female Race: Fairy Sexual Orientation: Demisexual World: Oephus Disposition: Chaotic Neutral Battle Information Class/Classes: Yew is an Earth-type fairy, and is able to cast earth-based spells better than other fairies since her element corresponds with it. She doesn't have any physical capabilities outside of that, aside from using her umbrella as a weapon of sorts when she smacks someone upside the head with it or uses it as a shield. Personality
Appearance  Height: 4 in (Fairy Form) // 4''2 (Bigger form) Notable Features: Light yellow fae wing (only has one, lost the other) on her back with orange tints throughout. History A long time ago, Yew became acquainted with a human boy. This human boy was unable to leave his house, and had been staring longingly outside his window for the longest time. Months passed with her watching him from her tree, hidden in its leaves away from the humans before she finally tapped on the glass. Yew remained hidden, using her magic to conceal herself and pretend to be the tree talking to him. Months passed, and the boy seemed to be getting better. By chance, he let it slip to his father that he thought it was the tree outside his room that had caused the miracle, and that she was his friend. His father thought negatively of this information. Had his son come in contact with a foul demon, and had been tricked? He didn't know, and continued to observe. Yew stayed, unknowing that they were being closely observed and the father learned that his son was talking to a fairy, by some man that he had hired to 'exorcise' the houses land. This led him to cutting down the tree to try and capture her, make it to where she had no where to go in his ignorance. Yew left, not being bound to the tree by anything other than emotion. Yew came back though, after retreating back into the river where the moogles and the fairies where, and away from the human settlement. To see how her entertainment was, she flew up to the window and tapped on it. The boy she came back to wasn't the one she had seen grow, though, and as soon as the window opened a glass jar was surrounding her, and she was captured. He removed one of her wings at his fathers behest, thinking that with it he could leave the house and be normal. The blonde looked at him with resentment for the longest time from the jar, before it was carelessly knocked off its shelf and she was set free, eager to extract her revenge from him before she could bind her with the wing he had. Lucky for her, none at the time in the area had knowledge of a fairies wing and she was able to take it and leave after making them pay for what they had done to her. Afterwards, her resentment towards mortals increased tenfold and she retreated into the forest, not leaving for hundreds of years until she grew bored of being contained like the outside world was a threat. She followed the trail of whispers, and it led her to Thion where she made a new home out of a tree and had begun to watch the proceedings of the people that were arriving there.
