She was born to two loving parents, has no siblings and she was given a good life. By the time she was two she was able to walk, run and even talk properly showing she was intelligent and as time progressed she was able to look at her parents studies on certain beasts and draw her own conclusions. Snakes and arachnids, worms, other things she didn't really hate, in fact she came to love them and studied hard from the age of four, however insects she soon found a dislike for. Her dislike for insects stemmed from the mosquito that made her mother ill, when Ariel was six years old, while said mother was off on a trip trying to find new monsters and beasts to bring home to study she was bitten by a mosquito and it made her sick. Her mother became extremely ill over time but she did eventually recover with help from white mages and other scholars who knew how to combat the illness she contracted from the bite. This however was something that Ariel will never forget and will never forgive the entire populace of mosquitos for. It's also how her fear of dying from a mosquito bite came from, because if those white mages and scholars didn't know what they did? Her mother wouldn't be alive today. Ariel has taken on the family bussiness of taming beasts either for zoos or other reasons she still does to this day and currently she's wandering around with a baby Maloboro she's named Malcolm that took a liking to her and seems to think of her quite fondly. It follows wherever she goes and she feeds him, waters him and makes sure he's looked after. When he's old enough she plans on reintroducing him to the wild so that he can be with his own kind and this is one reason why she's taken up residence in Thion. The other reason for her settling in Thion is so she can study the Wyvern population.
