First things first the two would need to meet up at Y'n Bay since that would be the closest to their destination, then they'd board a ship heading towards the south, yet the ship wouldn't take them all the way. Unless of course they borrowed an airship or they both simply flew the entire journey which they could well do.
Flying/sailing south they would eventually come across land, and once they did they would have the opportunity to land and take in their new surroundings. From here? They'd be alone and they would have to fight and simply march forth in to uncharted territory to find new locations.
However from their location they'd be able to see a red land mass to the side across a body of water separating the two land masses.
What would they do now? Explore the land mass they were on and see if they ran across any towns or forests or anything at all? Or would they go and search the red land mass?

Exploration, that was the reason she'd flown so far with her new ally it seemed. Of course once she landed on this new green expanse of land she swiftly reverted back to a more human looking shape, it wouldn't after all do to scare off any natives to this land if they could avoid it.
"So how's the gil faring for you people in Thion? I forgot to ask how that place is holding up." She was relaxed and calm then again why the hell wouldn't she be? Stretching a little as she yawned she took a good look around.
"So where do we start first? This island or the one with the red land mass?" She left the decidion up to her ally and she slowly started to walk forwards.
"Also which place do you want to name? First, second or third place we come across?" She asked with a chuckle.
"It'd probably be best to head home after the third location, I only say that because I'm sure you have people that might start to worry... I know... I now do as odd as that is." She arched a brow, it was a strange feeling to be worried about after hundreds of years but it wasn't an unwelcome change or feeling as far as she was concerned.

It might have seemed odd to be leaving the area of Thion in order to go exploring, however he felt it was for the better because it would help everyone understand more of the world. Given, of course, if the exploring was a success. Of course he was glad that he wasn't going about this on his own. Given everything he had been through in the past in his own world he knew the value of a good ally or friend. Either way, they had both opted to fly to where they were going and once there they both landed and changed back to their normal selves, which was more than likely a really good idea. Mainly because neither of them wanted to really fight anyone right now, after all, they were here to explore, to discover. But at the same time self defense was still a thing. Though when Rowe started to speak he would turn to look at her and listen, closing his eyes to form replies to everything.
"Hmm. First of all the gil has helped. People have started to set up shops and other things of that nature. And I have been meeting a few different people, as well as a couple of people from my own world. So all in all...Thion is faring rather well. And seeing as how we're already here on this place I feel this would be the better choice to look around on. Mainly because if we change and fly around too much we may well be spotted by less than friendly beings." At that point he would go silent for a moment or two as he would scratch at the back of his head for a few moments and then he would softly shrug before he would continue to speak. "I'm not the best when it comes to naming things. So I can't rightly answer that one properly. Unless we simply find the places, tell people about them and let them name the places. That too is also an option. ...Not sure if its a good other option, but it could work if neither of us can think of good names. And well...The locals, should there be any, may already have the places named so if they are friendly we could try to talk with them and see if they understand us." Though at the last bit he would look back in the direction that they had come from with a small look of worry on his face but he would shake his head, he knew Celeste would be alright and that Thion would still be in one piece when he got back and everything.
"You're right. I do have someone back in Thion that would start to worry should we be gone too long. Which is why I think sticking to where we have landed will be good. After all, we can tell other parties that there are two land masses here should they want to explore the other, no? Either way...I feel this might well be a good thing. Exploring more of the world, getting more knowledge. After all...I wish to remain here should I have the option. In this world." And with that he would start to walk forward to follow after his ally that he had here with him. After all it wouldn't help to just stand there in place while she went off ahead without him. So all in all they would explore this place they were on to see what all they could find. Of course while walking he would pull out his gun to make sure it was all in working order just in case. After all...Can't be too careful in a new place that not even people from this world have explored. Things could get messy quickly, but he hoped that if there were people here on this place they would be friendly... |

As the two move forwards, they would see ahead of them somewhere a large city though it looked as though the city itself was in the side of a mountain, bathed in darkness, the lights that littered the city were purple or green some even blue or red, but they were glowing and they at least gave a little light to the city.
However as the two would draw ever near, two beasts would emerge from the wilderness, having spotted the two the things made a beeline for them snarling and snapping at them. Too bad for the beasts that they weren't exactly large or even very powerful. So perhaps the two explorers could take one each and then carry on their way.

Of course, the city was the first thing that caught his attention. It seemed that things were going to be going well for them in terms of finding things. At least he would think of it to be that way. It was hard to say what the people in that city would do should he and his ally simply enter without announcing themselves, then again there was something else that needed to be handled first it would seemed. A couple of beast seemed to have appeared and wanted to use the two of them as a meal or a snack or something to that end. This would cause him to chuckle a bit to himself. "It would seem we have a little bit of a distraction to get through before we can go to the city to take a look. I am curious to see what that city holds, hopefully we can get there in a peaceful manner. ...But first..." Now, normally one would think he would pull out the rather rather three barreled firearm he had. But this time...This time he was going to tap into his form shifting power, mainly because he hadn't do it much and he wanted to see just how it would fair in combat here in this world.
As the change took place, he would become taller, horns growing on his head, his hair becoming whiter, longer, and spikier. The cloak becomes something akin to a kilt or something as his hand gain long sharp clues, and his face becomes wolf like, even his feet become wolf like and once the change was done, he stood there for a moment and then he would slash at the beast that was making the beeline toward him, digging the razor sharp claws into the beast's side. It was almost as if he turned into this form to fight it beast to beast. However, he still had his human mind, his ability to think and speak while like this, it was more or less to test everything and he was hoping he would be able to use this form as well as he did in his own world. As he had slashed at the monster with the claws they would rend its flesh causing some damage to the beast, though he didn't know just how tough this thing was or how much damage it could handle, so in that light he would weigh his options.
Given everything he would keep the fight on the beast. He would attempt to dash at the monster, trying to slash as deep with the claws as he could, even trying to snap at the beast with the sharp fangs that he now had. If the dash and pounce didn't work he would need to figure out what to do next, but he was sure that everything would be alright. After all, he wouldn't really be happy if they were injured this early, this soon, and even after finding a city in that mountain. Hopefully everything would work out so that they could GET to that city, let alone meeting any of the people there in... |

As for these beasties I'm pretty certain we can make easy work of them." First she cast a simple Blizzard spell on the one before her, then a fire spell and lastly she cast a protect on Vincent, she'd do the same for herself once she had the chance to have her aether replenish.

Perhaps it was making things harder by doing things this way, by making himself this form and going at this in a more...physical sense, but at the same time it also would help him judge whatever else could be around here if these monsters simply jumped on the chance to attack them. It would seem these may well be on the so called bottom of the food chain in this place as it were. Still they made the choice to attack himself and his ally, and thus they needed to go on the defensive, to fight back, to make this a none issue so that they may continue to explore, continue to see what all this place might have laying in wait. Of course they were going to head to that city that they saw. And he had to agree that the lights gave it a sort of beauty all its own. But all in all he was hoping that the people there in that city would be friendly enough to talk with them before anything bad happened. After all, talking through issues could make things a lot better than fighting them all out. So, he would notice the magic, and then he would lock onto the one he was fighting.
With this he would actually bite into the thing, sinking the sharp fangs into its neck before pulling away and then slashing with his claws, once with each hand, trying to rake the sharp claws across the beast's face to try and inflict damage to its eyes or just damage overall to try to get out of this and onto the city as soon as possible. After that he would try to kick away from the beast to see just how much more damage it could take, more or less because he didn't know if he had done enough or if he would need to do more. That and he was thinking about shifting back to normal to finish this off at a distance with his gun or with magic as well. Either way this beast would need to be laid low so that they may continue. Well...This one and the other one that was with it. So he would wait and see what all would happen with this in the end. Of course if he didn't finish it off and it hurt himself or his ally? He would be rather disappointed with himself.
ACTIONS: Physical attack x3 on the beast he had been fighting already. And then attempted to kick it away to gain some distance. |

Rowe Smirked a bit as she watched the chaos unfold. Honestly? She wanted this to be over now so that they could get to the town ahead. So she lifted a hand and she cast a Blizzga at the monster that was in front of her. Once she had she turned her head towards Vincent.
"So what d'you think the people'll be like? Also are we skinning these? Maybe we can trade their skins at the place or use the meat as a gift of peace... Eh that might be a stupid idea." She mused towards the end, she just thought maybe if they had a gift it'd be a good thing but what if those people didn't like meat, what if they were vegetarians? Oh how she wanted to laugh at that idea.
Who in their right mind would turn down a steak for a fucking carrot? She couldn't understand it, but that was because she was more carnivore than vegetarian.
"Glad I brought you along though instead of someone who's super peaceful. It's good you can fight, means Thion'll be safe with their new mayor being a fighter."

With the beasts defeated the two explorers would now be able to continue on their way to the dark village/town/city ahead. Hopefully the residents would be nice enough to not attack them or anything. When they'd arrive they'd find that it was rather peaceful, the smell of incense would waft through the air making the place seem much more relaxed than at a first glance. The residents however all had dark skin with luminous markings. Hair and eyes were also bright. Most were seen with tools, weaponry, pipes or small gourds that they carried, there were one or two with books or various other things but for the most part they all looked very tribal and as if they were used to fighting. Animal skins were hung up to dry for leather, furs were being woven together for a thick cape or shawl. It would be up to the two to explore or talk to the residents. It would seem that their first real find was rather well worth it. It appeared to be an entire town, or perhaps even a full on city that seemed to hold quite the few people. And for what he could say, they looked quite unique. At least different to anything he had seen before, so it was probably a good idea that they had come here after all. Perhaps one of the people that were around could direct them to a leader? Something on that level so that they may be able to speak to them to get a little more understanding of this place or any others that might be around. Then again that might be his more...formal and logical side coming to the surface. Though he wasn't the only one that was part of this, so he would look to the other and then back to all of the people that were coming and going. He would make sure that Cerberus was well placed away to make sure it didn't look like he was there to fight, as it seemed most of the people in this place could do just that. Fight. And they would be very much outnumbered if things went south.
"...What do you purpose we do? I would say asking them if they have a leader of some sort and then talking to said leader should they have one would be the best option. Or we can explore for ourselves and see what we can find. ...The place seems peaceful enough so long as we don't do anything to offend. However, I am more than happy to hear your thoughts on the matter and go from there. ...I...am not the best at talking with people however. So please keep that in mind when thinking of a course of action..." And with that he would continue to look around the place, wanting to hear Rowe's thoughts and opinions on this place thus far and on what he had suggested. At the very least it would give them some direction if she decided to go with his plan. It would just be a little tough choosing who to ask about the leader bit. Though he would take a few more steps into the place, though the darker it got around them the more his own eyes seemed to shine a bit, but that was simply due to what he was, the darkness not really hindering his vision in the slightest.
"Or we could simply stand here and look out of place until someone comes to us. Either way, I would assume being as relaxed and non-hostile would be in our best interests. I'd rather not have to fight my way out of a city full of fighters..." And with that he would simply remain where he was, watching and looking over the place, enjoying the sense of calm that was being placed around due to the incense and everything else. Hopefully this would turn out for the best for them and the race that lived here... |
