Before, Lightning was a rather guarded woman that
would keep her emotions bottled up and locked away because she didn't want them to get in the way, nor did she want to get hurt by trusting people only for them to stab her in the back. However, as she traveled with people that would start to change, it would start to shift to where she slowly allowed people in, she would let people see more of her emotion, more of what made her really her and everything else. But even then she would only let in certain people and by little bits at a time. But that was before she was brought to this new place, and everything changed.

Now that she's here and she has no memories of how she used to be, she is going off what her heart and emotions tell her, she listens to that more than anything else for the time being. She doesn't think its a bad way of being, because she can help people like this, she can do the right thing and she can try to make people be better off for it all. Her heart is her guide until she comes across someone she might know or someone that knows her to where they could hopefully help her remember at least something. However, she will more than likely keep to doing what her heart tells her, doing what is good and right and not really hiding anything unless she feels like it would be for the best. She'll no longer bottle anything up, nor will she push people away. In fact, she would sooner let them in rather than push them away now that she is here in this place and doesn't remember anything.

Upon coming to this place, to this world, she lost almost everything that was in her memory. Her mind, her very thought process is shattered from the lack of her memories and from not knowing anything about herself or where she was from nor the burdens that had been on her shoulders before. There are only a few things that she knows because they are so attached to her. That would be her sister, Snow, Hope, and a couple of her other friends. And her own name. Everything else is broken and shattered, as if nothing was there in the first place, and because of this she has more or less been roaming in the area of SnoweHolme and the colder areas on her own as she isn't sure what to make of any of this, nor does she even know where she really is.

Because of this shattered memory she is becoming more of a "help those that can't help themselves" type of people. She does things with her heart and her feelings that seem like the right thing to do. And thus far its served her well, but at the same time she still wants to try to remember anything at this point, but nothing ever comes to mind, nothing ever happens. Its just all a blank slate, or a fuzzy and blurry image at best. She can't make heads or tails of anything, and so she made the choice to go around the land to try to find anyone she might know or for anything to trigger memories. 

Another day in the cold empty town that she had been staying in. It was still an odd feeling, being in a place that seemed to simply...Cease having life in it. Even if the people that were part of the town deserved what happened to them it was still something that was hard for her to stomach. It wasn't that it wasn't sitting right with her, it was just the thought that so much life was ended in that quick of a time. However if it was for the sake of the world than it was perfectly fine right? At least that was the thought process that was going through her mind. Even still she was curious to the exact way it happened, she would have liked to have seen it. But that brought her mind roaming to her own issues, to the fact that she was in a new world, a place that she had never really been before, and the fact that her mind and memories were more or less completely shattered.

"These faces...These names. What does it all mean? Snow? Serah? Hope? I just don't understand any of this right now. I keep hoping that maybe something...Anything will return with time, but so far, there's nothing. Nothing but more questions and no answers. ...Maybe if I can find one of them something will happen with it. Perhaps something will trigger...For better or for worse. But regardless. I will help the people here that I can, I can use my skills for the good of those that can't fight for themselves. That...That is what my heart tells me to do. Help people..." It was a near far cry from what she was like back in her world, but she wouldn't know that, she couldn't know that. And if she had the ability to choose? She would want to choose to be the way she is here. The feeling of being able to help people, to keep them safe, and to bring them happiness? It made her feel content and happy herself. And thus she would remain here, here in Meia for the time being until she could figure out just where to go and what to do with herself in this place as a whole....
