"Why don't you relax, we've got a lot to do tomorrow."  Tagged for: Anyone Celeste wandered the streets of Thion, a smile on her face as she went, she took in a good look at the houses, the fountain, the shops. Soon enough people would be coming from miles around to visit this little place. They had a good library and other things too like a water supply and various other things and things were going well. The streets were clean, the houses were clean, they could all do with a good refurnishing still but they only had so many people who could craft objects and without the right tools they wouldn't be able to do their job.
Perhaps she'd do that today, get people who could craft the right materials so that they could furnish their houses and the spare ones ready for people to move in.
"Well, I don't know if things could get better than this." She grinned a bit and then she slowly wandered by one of the empty houses and she peered inside. Slowly she'd head to Arrans house and then take the signs for houses. Slowly she'd head around the houses from the main entrance towards Dratia and she would start sticking numbers on the houses near the doors.
Each place would have it's own number and street name. North street, South Street, West Street, East Street, then the avenues and Roads and she was quite happy with that, she'd just need help putting the street and road signs down.
As she wandered around however she caught sight of something or someone from the corner of her eye and she waved.
"I'll be with you in a minute if you need help~!"

It was a little odd, this chill, the fact that she really didn't have heat to her. She knew that she was cool to the touch and well, that was to be expected because she had in fact died on an ill fated trip to SnoweHolme. The memories of it were still in her mind, though there were holes and everything, but she was still glad to be alive, or rather, as alive as she could be. It really showed her to value life, to make sure to treasure everything that she had and everything that she could have. However, she also knew that she needed to help other people, to make sure they had a good life, to make sure she did everything she could do, be it through work, though song, through skills. Whatever it might take. ...That and she had a certain person she wanted to make sure she was there for. Though she had to come to grips with the fact that she would live well past him in terms of age. But at the time? She didn't want to drown in all these bad thoughts. It wouldn't really help her or anyone else if she did that! So? She decided she would go out into Thion to see how things were going.
Of course, she was sore. Everything hurt, but mainly the area around her chest and back where she was ran through and the like. But she could deal with that, there wasn't any reason to be focused on her own pain or anything like that. No no. She needed to go out and see if there was anything that she could do to try to help people. Going through the streets, she would notice that more and more of it was getting cleaned up and it was looking quite like a full on town. This caused her to smile softly because it showed signs of life, signs of growth and people's will to work together. That was one of the biggest things that she enjoyed about the place. Everyone working together for the same goal. Not to mention it was a home for those that had no one to really go, and she fit into that rather well right now. At least that she was able to tell or remember. Because the holes in her memory were that of her family, something that she had to give up in exchange for the second chance that she was given.
Of course she would come along where Celeste was and she would stop, tilting her head ever so slightly when she was addressed. "Oh, no no. I um don't really need help. In fact I was going out and about to see if I could help anyone around here. I suppose you could say I feel the need or the want to do something to help. Though I'm not sure what I could really do, but I want to try you know?" She would then laugh softly and then she would simply look at what was going on, perhaps there could be something that she could do to help this young woman out? Well it certainly seemed like they were busy, so maybe she could help relief the stress a bit? Well nevertheless she could simply keep the other company if that would help. Really anything she could do right now would be great as it would keep her mind off the darker thoughts and it might mean she was actually doing something to help someone. ...She just needed to hope that she wasn't going to be bothering the young woman. That would be simply terrible... |

"Why don't you relax, we've got a lot to do tomorrow." "Oh, no no." Celeste stopped for a moment to actually look back at the woman.
"I um don't really need help. In fact I was going out and about to see if I could help anyone around here." Oh so the woman was a resident of this place now? Good!
"I suppose you could say I feel the need or the want to do something to help. Though I'm not sure what I could really do, but I want to try you know?" The pink haired girl offered a wide smile before she headed over to Artesia and she put some of the signs in the womans hands, all the odd numbers.
"Well if you really want to help? How about helping me number the houses and apartments? It's gonna take a while with just one person since Thion isn't exactly small." She laughed a little.
"So, we'll do this side first then switch to the other side and work our way back up unless we put even numbers on one side and odds on the other, which might actually make it easier on the mail moogles..." She mused, at least the place was starting to look a bit more like a functional town or village. Plus if houses and apartments were numbered it'd make things really easy for people to find particular homes and people.

Wither or not it was the intent, the other female seemed to know how to plan on the spot. Or rather, think on their feet when it came to things like this. Though now that she was holding all of these signs for the odd numbered buildings she had to wonder which method would really be the best one to go with. After all, having all of the odd on one side of the street would make things easier for more than just the mail moogles. It might even make things go a little quicker while they worked too because it meant they would be getting both sides of the place done at once rather than focusing on one side and then the other. And while it might seem like it was an easy choice and all? She wanted to make sure it would work out, and well. It seemed like it would, so she was going to voice that opinion and hope that it really didn't cause too much trouble. After all, she was here to help, not try to boss people around, because that just wasn't the way she was, nor did she ever want to become that way, she just felt it wasn't a proper way to do things after all.
"If I may, I think that um...doing one side odd and the other side even would make things easier all around. For the mail moogles, for us, and for the people living here. Because um...If we do it like that, we'll be able to get each side of the place done as we go instead of just one. I just um...hope I can keep up the pace with you so I don't just get in the way. Haha." Of course she was smiling while she was laughing and everything. It was nice to see someone trying to do something good for the place, and she was more than happy to lend a hand. She just needed to make sure everything would play out well, and so? She would take her signs and everything and she would get busy on her side of the street. Of course she wouldn't go too fast, but its not like she was going super slow either. She was trying to find a pace that would work out well for her, and so that she would actual be of help to the young woman rather than just be getting in the way. That was the one thing she didn't want right now at all.
Of course, being who, or rather, what she was she would start to hum and sing a bit as she worked. She felt it would help the time pass a bit easier while keeping busy. Though she would keep an eye on Celeste and the like, even trying to keep the conversation going and all. "So um...If I'm not mistaken you were one of the first people to come here, right? Um to Thion? You and that um...man with the fancy red cape? Well either way, I hope you like the way the place is coming together. I feel it'll help a lot of people knowing that they have a place they can come and belong. After all, having a safe place like that can mean the world to someone. And that's just what this place can be! So you're doing a wonderful thing with all of this, you really are." And of course, that would be accompanied with a bright smile, though she would get right back to work with putting the signs up on her side of the street, still humming and singing as she went. This was giving her a warm feeling, helping someone help this place that could mean so much to so many... |

"If I may," Celeste stopped in the midst of what she was doing which was she was about to meander down the street and try to decide which option would be better. Her head turned and green eyes stared at Artesia for a minute or two as the woman spoke.
"I think that um...doing one side odd and the other side even would make things easier all around. For the mail moogles, for us, and for the people living here." Celeste used her one free hand to rub the back of her neck. Was it the most efficient?
"Because um...If we do it like that, we'll be able to get each side of the place done as we go instead of just one. I just um...hope I can keep up the pace with you so I don't just get in the way. Haha." Celeste laughed a little and nodded.
"Then odds on one side and evens on the other it is! I think it's a good idea. So we'll go with that. Maybe after we're done some tea would be good?" She may as well make a good friend of someone. After all they might end up with this being the last thing they really do here in Thion, if other cities or towns decided to come and smash it. She just hoped that wouldn't happen.
Off Celeste went starting to put signs on houses, though their conversation would easily travel across to one another because of how deserted the place was right now.
"So um...If I'm not mistaken you were one of the first people to come here, right? Um to Thion? You and that um...man with the fancy red cape?" Celeste smiled and with a gentle 'Mhmm!' and a nod she continued on.
"Well either way, I hope you like the way the place is coming together. I feel it'll help a lot of people knowing that they have a place they can come and belong." The pink haired once noble stopped for a moment.
"After all, having a safe place like that can mean the world to someone. And that's just what this place can be! So you're doing a wonderful thing with all of this, you really are."
"I hope so... That was our intention, a place for the off worlders to come and meet back up so they can figure out a way home together... But... I.... Well I don't think Vinnie wants to go home, and I'm actually..." She felt her cheeks flush a little going as pink as her hair was.
"Well... I'm actually pretty happy about that... I like having him near, he makes me feel safe... As silly as that sounds. He was really my first friend and yet he's not even from this world so I'm not going to judge people, regardless of where they come from, they're welcome here so long as they're not evil individuals that'd hurt this town or it's people." She beamed a little at that and she continued on her way putting the signs up.
"You know, there's some really nice places in this forest to relax. I could point out a couple later if you want."
