Please include a short paragraph on how they got to Oephus. Usually it's by some tear or void that shouldn't have been in that world to begin with.

For the Dead
For the dead however it's usually when someone else is pulled from their world that their life force or what remains of it is dragged from that same world, it doesn't have to be a canon that came across in order for those who're dead to come over it could be a random NPC who dies during the trip through the void but the dead person manages to make it over. Upon entering the world they would have physical form but a HIGH HIGH HIGH chance of amnesia and unrecoverable memories, it would actually be exceptionally rare for someone to remember everything from their past life upon entering this world after being dead. If they have any memory it's likely to be fragmented. It's harder for a dead soul to retain memory after all.


For the Living
Living people usually retain around 50% - 75% of their memory, some can retain everything and others retrain only little bits, fragments of memory. How much they retain is entirely up to you but memory lost is a common factor of travelling through the void or tear, the reason for this is because going from one world to another a persons essence is slowly depleted, if a person is in the void for too long they completely forget everything and cannot regain those memories but this rarely ever happens.

It would also be nice if you could include what they've been doing since they got to Oephus or where they've decided to hang around.

2 - 5 paragraphs (this is flexible obviously but nothing below 2 paragraphs), do NOT write a novel because let's face it, staff probably don't just have your app to look over and don't want to spend all day reading your rp sample. It's just to show you can play the character not to spend an entire paragraph talking about what color the curtains are in the room they're staying.
