Ranoe (Rah-No-ay) Port is a port town that's at the Eastern most point of the Central Continent.
As a bustling port town Ranoe is usually full of people at all times of the day, though the locals may be rather friendly they don't really take kindly to outsiders that intend to stay for a long period of time. This is of course unless said outsiders make themselves useful around the town or can pay their way and don't cause any trouble. If outsiders bring trouble their way the people of this port town tend to push them out.
The residents of the town worship their patron Deity of water and often thank him/her for the wonderful harvests of fish and other sea creatures, they also repent if their harvests weren't very plentiful. They have had times where storms hit their town or even the sea where their fishing boats are, times where storms have prevented ships from docking with visitors to their town aboard, and even times where fish thin out because of their greed. But they have learned not to catch too much in order to let the life in the seas breed and become plentiful once more.
They also try to appease the Deity of wind if storms hit the seas, they hope that in those times the Deity of the wind will hear their pleas and stop any tragedy, of course this doesn't always seem to be the case and accidents happen do happen, though it isn't very often.
Around the town you may find small shrines to each Deity, the town tends to try and pay respect to all Deities so that they may be graced with one of their residents being chosen to be a Deity in the next cycle, or even be in the good graces of those Deities so that their little town might survive winters and any tragedies that befall them.
