Hui let out a sigh as he leaned back against the tree and looked around. This was always one of the most boring parts of his day, since nothing ever happened he found it rather pointless. After all it was rare that anyone ever same into the village this way. Partly because this path was one of the harder roads into the place and the other because even if you did come into the village this way you still had to travel a bit more into the place before you managed to get to anything good. He shrugged to himself and looked around really quick then moved to a shadier area and sat leaning back against the tree for a nap. "Well I gotta say there is one good thing about being suck over here. All the easier to nap and not have to worry about anyone bothering me." Today seem like it would be a perfect day, since the weather was good, and he was getting the chance to get in a good nap without having to worry about anyone bugging him. Nez was off doing something at the moment, so he didn't have to worry about her coming and smacking him for lazying around. Things were quiet save the few animals he could hear out in the woods a bit away, plus the chances of someone coming this way were slim. Yep today was shaping up to be a rather good day, now all he had to do was nap for the next few hours and he shift would be done. He let out a slight yawn and tucked his hands behind his head as he closed his eyes for his nap. He decided to let the sounds of nature be his music to sleep too. It didn't take all that long before he was out since he hadn't been sleeping all that much the last few days anyway. Between work and Nez's kick your ass into shape training sleep had become one of those get it while you can things. He had to admit though he might complain he was thankful for Nez, without her training would have been a lot harder to get use to the upgrade to his senses and he might not even be here right now. He had just started to drift off, the cool breeze blowing over his face when he thought he heard something. He rubbed his eyes a bit and glanced around then shrugged and went back to sleep. After all there was little chance of anyone actually being out here right. tagged: Open | THE DANGER IS I'M DANGEROUS AND I MIGHT JUST TEAR YOU APART |

Laguna was lost though he wouldn't admit it to anyone and not even himself for that matter. In retrospect the Dragons of Thion should have handed him a map, preferably with the largest print possible, and not let him on his own with only verbal directions. Then again there was no way for them to know that Laguna was pretty terrible at navigating a place if he wasn't already familiar with the area. The man was a goofball after all and on many occasions had managed to get himself and his friends Kiros and Ward lost on missions when they were soldiers. While he was a bit sheepish when he was actually called out on his lack of navigational skills, there was no one around to comment on it.
There was supposed to be a path that would follow a river and lead on into a town called Ikaro, but Laguna had managed to go in completely the opposite direction. His clothes showed large signs of wear and tear as he walked along at a rather leisurely pace. There were some rather minor scrapes on his elbows from the multiple falls he underwent and the knees of his pants were clearly covered in grass stains and traces of dust. The Dragons had failed to warn him that this path was really rough to traverse and for some reason there was no river in sight. Maybe he really had wandered off in the wrong direction completely? That was an explanation for why what he was told wasn't matching up with what his green eyes took in.
Maybe it was about time for him to find someone and ask for directions? If he stayed lost for too long it was more than likely that he'd walk into a monster nest knowing his luck. Sure the machine gun strapped across his back was ready for use if he suddenly found himself swarmed by monsters, but he sort of wanted a nice and relaxing trip while taking in the sights. With a notepad in his right hand and a pen in his pocket, Laguna looked around for any possible sign of human life or just life for that matter. There were a good number of trees in this area so Laguna was sure that there was at least one person that was capable of helping him out.
That was when Laguna saw him. There in the distance was a man, who looked like he had black hair, who appeared to be sleeping in front of a large tree. Surely this person was able to help him out and if not Laguna hoped that they could maybe become friends eventually. With a grin on his face, Laguna made his way over towards the other man. A particularly loud snap echoed about after he stepped on a twig by mistake. Laguna watched the man stir at the sudden noise before going back to sleep, but he continued onward. It was too good of a day outside to waste by sleeping it away all the time after all.
"Hey! Could you wake up? I need to ask you something," Without waiting for a response, Laguna proceeded to try and poke Hui's arm with his notepad in hopes of getting some sort of conscious reaction out of the other man.

Hui let out a slight groan when he heard the sound of someone getting closer. As much as he really wanted to and god did he was to just ignore whoever it was that was coming his way he knew he couldn't. After all they person could be hostile for all he knew and since he was still on duty at the moment he should do come work from time to time. Even still he didn't move right away just stayed laying there with his eyes close wishing that he would get lucky and they person would just decide to go somewhere else. He knew that wouldn't be the case when he heard the guy call out to him and then begin to poke him. Hui sighed keeping his eye closed as he said "No, no I can't wake up because I never actually got to really fall asleep. I was so close, everything was going right in this weather it would have been a great nap. No one takes this route into the village normally, but it would be my luck that today someone decides to do just that." Hui opened his eyes then and looked the guy over. Well from just looking at the guy it didn't seem like he was here to cause any trouble for Hui even if he had interrupted a perfectly good nap. For now it was best to just see what the guy wanted and maybe if he was lucky he would still be able to get that nap. Hui lifted a hand up to the guy as to signal him to hold whatever questions or thoughts he had going for one second. Then he grabbed his katana that was next to him and used it to help lift himself up until he was standing in front of the guy. He gave himself a quick dusting off then turned to the guy with a nod. "Alright, now I'm up hope you're pleased. So do me the favor of telling me just who are you and how can I help you. I mean I'm guessing that you didn't come all this way just to interrupt my nap."Hui leaned back against the tree he had be sleeping against and waited for the guys replay. He had a feeling that this wasn't going to be a quick hello for some reason. | THE DANGER IS I'M DANGEROUS AND I MIGHT JUST TEAR YOU APART |

"No, no I can't wake up because I never actually got to really fall asleep. I was so close, everything was going right in this weather it would have been a great nap. No one takes this route into the village normally, but it would be my luck that today someone decides to do just that." Was that sarcasm? Laguna hoped so otherwise he would have worried about this man's inability to wake and answer his question. Laguna blinked at being told that the route he used to get here wasn't a normal route most people ventured out on. He would have assumed from the directions that the dragons gave him that this was a normal route to walk. Maybe he was more lost than he had first assumed?
Laguna was about to say something before the other man brought a hand up as if to stop him from talking for a moment. What was he planning on doing? Laguna watched curiously as the man grabbed a katana and used it to pull himself up to full height. Tapping his feet impatiently, Laguna tried to wait as the other man, who was now standing in front of him instead of laying down, apparently dusted his clothes off. Just how long did this man expect Laguna to wait before he was allowed to ask his question? Hopefully it wasn't too much longer because Laguna was getting impatient.
"Alright, now I'm up hope you're pleased. So do me the favor of telling me just who are you and how can I help you. I mean I'm guessing that you didn't come all this way just to interrupt my nap." Finally the other man was ready for Laguna too ask his question. Unfortunately for the other man this probably wasn't going to be something quickly dealt with. For one Laguna still thought that he was heading in the direction of Ikaros. He had no idea that he was actually on his way to Dratia with the path he took. Not to mention if he turned around it would have taken him a long time to get there.
"Well for starter's my name's Laguna and I think I may be lost," If only Laguna knew just how turned around he really was. "Now for my question. Do you think you can tell me how far it is until I reach Ikaros and maybe give me directions if possible?" He asked as he tilted his head to the side. It really didn't matter to him if this man helped him out or not. If he was nowhere near where he was trying to go Laguna just planned on rolling with it. Still he was bound to give the other man a major headache by the end of the day.
"So are you going to tell me you're name now?" At the very least he figured that having a name was better than referring to the other man with vague pronouns.
