Daniel Oliander

Class/Classes: Daniel uses a variant of the Mystic Knight class. The variant of Mystic Knight that Daniel uses fuses magic spells into his/her weapon which is a set of gauntlets and a pair of greaves. Since he/she uses these Daniel tends to use a Monk like attack scheme but has to charge his/her weapons in order to attack.

Daniels spells consist of healing spells, fire spells and earth spells. Daniel also has two buffing spells haste and Faith.

Attack spells:-
Fire - Weak fire-elemental attack.

Fira - Moderate fire-elemental attack.

Firaga - Powerful fire-elemental attack.

Flare - Powerful non-elemental attack that pierces defenses.

Stone - Deals earth damage to an enemy.

Stonega - Deals Earth damage to enemies within area of effect.

Stoneja - Deals earth damage to enemies within area of effect.

Healing:-
Cure - Heals minor amount of HP.

Cura - Heals moderate amount of HP.

Raise - Revives knocked out party member with small amount of HP.

Esuna - Removes Blind, Poison, Petrify, Silence, Confuse, Sap, Sleep, Slow, and Stop.

Buffing:-
Faith - Similar to Bravery, only it affects the potency of magic power increasing magic the magic damage output of the target.

Haste - Increases number of attacks, or reduces time taken to execute actions and time until next turn.

Summon:-
Titan - Inflicts moderate Earth-elemental damage to all enemies.

Despite the horrible hand in life Dani has been dealt, he's always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better and clinging to whatever he has left. Though he does find it difficult to make friends mostly because while he may be perceived as calm he's also seen as reserved or perhaps even shy, he's also very timid around new people going so far as to flinch now and again if they make sudden movements. This is simply because of the way Dani's been brought up and because of the neighboring village of Meia.

Despite this timid to begin with nature he has an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. He's guided by his principles and moral, rather than by logic though he does use that as well and excitement is something he's not really prone to showing either. When deciding how to move forward, he'll often weigh up his morals, principals and what others wished for him. He'll look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue and his actions are usually rather pure of heart. He doesn't like to hurt others if it can be avoided and when he's doing a task to help someone, it's just to help them, he doesn't expect anything in return.

Sadly due to his rather shy nature it means he has a rather large personal space boundary and when that's violated he flies off the handle, breaking in to squeaks or yelps or other such noises and rather loud protests against whatever it is that the violator is doing. If he feels it's necessary he'll use violence but only to an extent.

Dani is a generally nice person overall, he cares a lot for those he calls friends or family and despite losing everything he refuses to give up, it wouldn't be respectful to others if he did and it would be incredibly selfish.

Weight: Never a solid weight, tends to vary thanks to being genderless and able to switch genders along with having a form shift.

Notable Features: Has pinwheel type pupils, has a few scars across the shoulder blades from fights.

For as long as he can remember Dani has been a part of SnoweHolme. He was in fact born in SnoweHolme, during the freezing cold winter, his parents kept him warm and made sure that he made it through each year, even if it was a struggle and even if gil was short. They always managed to provide regardless and Daniel as they had dubbed him was part of a family with pinwheel eyes.

Now, in the run down shack of a school SnoweHolme had, Dani was bullied a lot as a small child, his eyes were made fun of and his family too, some called him a demon but he didn't understand. He never did understand really not until those he went to school with started to go old and gray and he hadn't ever changed. But before things got to that point he started helping to hunt, started to help repair things even if he was horrible at mechanics and he learned to cook, and he had a talent for it too. He also knew how to make leather and other materials out of parts of animals.

Eventually though the ageing thing became a huge issue, while people he'd grown up with were nearing their hundreds, he did too but he would outlive them, he still looked young while they were old and gray and frail he saw them have families of their own, their kids started growing up fast too. The few friends he had he went and visited in the make shift hospital that was in the center of SnoweHolme, he would be there often and eventually he would be the one holding their hands as they finally passed on, they had left him behind and their lives had gone by in the blink of an eye.

With the loss of his friends until only he was left he grew to hate what he was. He hated it, thought it was a curse. He didn't want to feel the pain of loss but it wouldn't end there. For more time passed on and his mother and father had a baby girl by the time he was 150 years old. He was excited to have a younger sister, however. It wasn't long till winter hit and despite what the parents did and what Daniel did, the little girl died in her crib, from the sheer cold that was out there. This wounded Daniel deeply, but it didn't hurt him nearly as much as it destroyed his parents.

The loss of a child can change things and for this family it did. The next ten years would be hell for Dani. Not only did he become friends with local visitors to the store where he'd now taken up working but he watched as eventually they, passed away, as their children passed away. Three or four generations passed by rapidly and now as a ripe 220 years old he got his first real girlfriend, she was a girl with long mint green tresses, soft curls, the bluest eyes he'd ever seen and a perfectly balanced figure. Her personality was wonderful too but this wouldn't last long, as she grew older and he didn't change, now 230 years old he stuck with her regardless and then came the attack. A small group of men from Meia had come to SnoweHolme to start trouble and they did just that. They took a couple of people with them one of which was Dani's girlfriend, he was going to try and stop them. He knew he could, his parents had taught him how to use his abilities, how to gender shift over the last two hundred years so why shouldn't he pay them back in kind?! Yet he was stopped, the girls mother stepped in and offered herself up instead to take the girls place, so the girl was tossed aside and the mother was taken.

Dani went on a rescue mission after the group had left and did in fact manage to bring the mother back, though she was heavily wounded among other things. The other however was dead before he could get them back. The people in the village hospital tried to look after the mother but during the night, after being in a coma the woman died. She didn't even get to say good bye to her daughter and that caused Dani's girlfriend to lose it completely, upon hearing about her mothers death and not having a father or any other living relatives, the girl committed suicide the following night and Dani was the one to find her hanging in her living room gently swinging back and forth.

He, himself almost lost it but with his parents still there they helped him get a grip. Another ten years and things had seemed to go back to normal, that is of course until he sadly woke up one morning to find that both his parents had died of hypothermia in the night and his best friend at the time had fallen in some water and died of the same thing. In a single night he lost three of the most valuable people to him.

And with that? He lost all ties to Snoweholme so, he simply walked out, the villagers tried to stop him, telling him he wouldn't make it but he didn't care, he'd mastered his demon form much faster than he was supposed too, he had his own fighting style that his father had helped him perfect, he would be fine if it came to it in the end. So he refused to listen to them overcome with anger and sorrow. Yet not giving up as his parents had made him promise back when his girlfriend died to not give up no matter how hard life seemed.

Now he roams the land looking for a place to make his new home.
